CORALINFIKIDS was launched in 28th November 2010 at Saligramam, Chennai, since then we have rapidly changed the face of Pre-school education, we have an extended Branch at Virugambakkam, Alwarthirunagar Chennai. Our Success has remained the expectations of many hopeful parents, who were keen to see their kids continue to Blossom under our guidance, Furthermore we aim at bringing out the Uniqueness of each kid, We go forth with the determination to Get Good, Get Better and Be the Best… Always…
The below requirements makes a kid UNIQUE, what does it mean to be UNIQUE? Every child is a unique child, who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured; babies and young children mature in every area of development at their own pace and in their own individual way.
Every child is an individual with special social, emotional, intellectual and physical qualities. Children are taught to create happiness, manage moods, positive self-talk, cultivate optimism, celebrate life, practice gratitude and appreciate over connectedness to each other and the entire universe.
In the 7 Areas of learning of Development all area are important and interconnected. Each area consists of their respective early learning goals. In this, children should learn and develop the 3 prime areas first in which these are particularly crucial for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, and for building their capacity to learn, from relationships and thrive.
LISTENING AND ATTENTION
We teach our kids to listen or pay attention to a range of situations accurately anticipating positive moments with relevant comments, questions and actions.
UNDERSTANDING
Our kids learn to follow instructions or actions; they learn to ask ‘how ‘and ‘why ‘in response to stories and events.
SPEAKING
We help our kids to express themselves effectively, showing awareness to the needs of the listener.
MOVING AND HANDLING
Our kids are taught to control and co-ordinate in large and small movements. They are helped to move confidently and safely negotiating space. We help them handle toys for various Montessori skills and also to handle crayons and pencils for coloring and writing.
HEALTH AND SELF-CARE
We keep our kids and their parents well aware of the importance of good health and a healthy diet. We train our kids to manage their own basic hygiene and personal needs successfully especially going to the toilet independently.
SELF CONFIDENCE AND AWARENESS
Our kids are helped to gain confidence to try new activities and express themselves ,they gain confidence to choose the resources they need for their chosen activity.
MANAGING FEELINGS AND BEHAVIOUR
Our kids start recognizing their own feelings and others feelings and behavior which are acceptable and not .They start working in small groups ,choosing the resources they need ,they learn to express when they do or don’t need help.
MAKING RELATIONSHIPS
We teach kids to play co-operatively taking turns with their classmates .They are taught to be sensitive to others needs and feelings and grow positive relationships with other kids and adults.
READING
We train our kids to read and understand simple sentences. We apply Phonics knowledge to decode and read accurately; kids can demonstrate their understanding when talking with others about what they have read.
WRITING
We train our kids to use Phonics knowledge to write words in ways that match their spoken sounds, they write simple sentences that can be read by themselves and others.
EXPLORING AND USING MEDIA AND MATERIAL
We train our kids to sing songs and dance along; we help them explore a variety of materials, tools, experimenting with colors, design texture and form.
BEING IMAGINATIVE
Kids are trained to represent their own ideas, thoughts and feelings through design and technology, art, music, dance, role-play and stories.
PEOPLE AND COMMUNICATION
Kids become aware about their past and present events they enjoy. They know about similarities and differences between themselves and others and among families, communities and traditions.
THE WORLD
We train kids to become aware about similarities and differences in relation to places, materials, living and non-living things.
TECHONOLOGY
We train kids to recognize a range of technology in their schools and homes. They can identify, relate, and use technology for practical.
NUMBERS
Kids are trained to count, place them in order and also to be able to say which number is one more or one less than a given number. Using objects and quantities they add and subtract .They solve problems including doubling, halving and sharing.
SHAPES, SPACE AND MEARURES
Our kids are trained to recognize, create and describe patterns .They use mathematical expressions to describe objects and shapes.
The most important reason for monitoring each child’s development is to find out if a child’s development is on track. It is important to act early if there are signs of potential developmental delay because early treatment is so important for improving a child’s skills and abilities.
Skills such as taking first steps, speaking words or phrases and self control are considered developmental milestones. The early years are important for parents to keep an eye on how their child is developing.
It is very important for parents to involve in the process of observations and assessments because it creates a positive relationship between practitioner and parents. Parents views support in the kid’s progress based on the program.
